Miss Chinese Vancouver took place Wednesday, December 4th at the Vancouver Convention Centre. After several rounds of competition, #9 Jennifer Packet emerged as the winner and will represent Vancouver at the 2020 Miss Chinese International Pageant. Jennifer is 22 and stands 5'6.5" tall. Miss Chinese Toronto took place on on Friday, November 29th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. In the end, #5 Xiaoyu Chen came away victorious. Xiaoyu is 25 and stands 5'9" and will represent Toronto at the 2020 Miss Chinese International Pageant.

The field has been narrowed down to the 10 after a talent show. The points combined with Big Big Fun voting determined who made the cut. Finalists for this year from a field of 49 girls that made it to the second round of auditions. There are many tall girls in this year's batch. One of the finalists is Carmaney Wong, who represented Hong Kong at Miss International last year. Look for her to do well with her pageant experience.

The contestants all performed their talents in front of a live audience at a shopping mall. The live audience each selected their favorite talent performance. The talent with the most votes won the (現場觀眾至Like表演) "Audience Most Liked Performance Award". This honor went to Miss Brisbane Joanne Thai for her pole dance. Rounding out the Top 4 were: Miss Chicago Ida Duan (piano & violin performance), Miss Hong Kong Hera Chan for her spray paint art and Miss Tahiti Morgane Yueng for her Tahitian dance. and 健康活力佳麗 (Miss Healthy Vitality) went to Miss Hawaii Stephanie Wang.

The contestants all did TRX training with Air Fitness. 2 former Miss Hong Kongs Toby Chan and Louisa Mak were training with them and they selected their Top 5 fittest contestants: #2 Joanne Thai of Brisbane, #4 Stephanie Wang of Hawaii, #8 Lisa He of London, #11 Finola Xie of Melbourne and #17 Morgane Yueng of Tahiti. In the end 2 awards were presented: 健美體態佳麗 (Miss Fittest Body) went to Miss Melbourne Finola Xie and 健康活力佳麗 (Miss Healthy Vitality) went to Miss Hawaii Stephanie Wang.

Miss Chinese International 2019 Contestants Meet the Press for the first time
Mister Hong Kong Waikin Kwan named 2nd Runner-up at Mister International 2019! Top prize went to Mister Vietnam Trinh Bao and 2nd place went to Mister Venzuela Francesco Piscitelli. This makes Waikin the highest placement for Hong Kong in a major international male pageant ever.

The Pageant took place on February 16th at the Palace of Fine Arts. In the end, hometown contestant Katherine Wu walked away with title. Katherine is 18 years old, stands 5'7" tall and is a freshman at Rice University. She is currently training in hopes of making the US archery team for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Mercer Island representative Rae Wong is Chinese Pageant Page's bet for the crown. She resembles former winner Leah Li who is from the same hometown. Even her stats are similar: 5'5" tall, 19/20 year's old with a background in dance from the same dance academy. Lily Li is a returning contestant, having competed last year. Flora Hui has entered local singing contests before and competed and won an award at the Qipao Queen contest. Anyi Gao & Angela Lam are both from the Miss Chinese (New York) pageant where both have won the Miss Qipao award. Ivonne Lee is the reigning Miss Hawaii Chinese, Brittany Lau is the reigning Miss Chinese Chicago. Katherine Wu is hoping to make the Olympics in archery. Sara Tin-U is the reigning Miss Talent (Miss Chinatown Houston). All in all, it's a very well-rounded group this year.
