For most of the years, there are 10 contestants which has now become the standard for the pageant.
Only the first year were there 13 contestants followed by several years of 12 contestants.
The smaller numbers (1 and 2) and larger numbers (9 and 10) have
fared better in making the top 3.
The reason for this is that the contestants are numbered according to height starting with the tallest,
as they alternate between the smallest and largest numbers until you get to the
shortest contestants somewhere in the middle. This lineup is not always the case,
for the past several years, they line the opposite with the tallest girls in the middle.
Currently, the luckiest numbers are #1, 8 and 9.
A 1st Runner-up finish for #1 in 2018 pushed it into sole position for winningest number.
