18 year old Sandra Wong is a graduate of Lincoln high school. She was born in Portland, Oregon and was a yell leader at a high school outside of Medford before moving to Seattle a year and a half ago.
Sandra sings and sews her own clothes and is a sports fan. Her initial duties as Miss Chinese Community is to participate in Seafair celebrations.
Katie Wong was sent to represent Seattle at the 1961 Miss Chinatown USA pageant instead of Sandra.
