✱ Karinne represented Montreal at the 2016 Miss Chinese International pageant in Hong Kong.
Over 20 girls applied for the pageant this year, the pageant committee narrowed
down the field to 5 contestants for the finals.
The event was hosted by 賈思洋 and Lucia Lorigiano (2014 Miss Chinese Montreal).
The show opened with a fan dance by the 5 contestants, followed by swimsuits, modern
dance and evening gowns. There was no talent portion this year. In the end the judges
chose French/Chinese mixed contestant Karinne Legare as the winner.
