Miss Macau Pageant Past Results
The very first Miss Macau pageant was held in 1972 by the Macau Tourism Office to select a winner to go on to compete at the 1972 Miss Portugal pageant. Anabela went on to win the Miss Simpatia (Miss Friendship) award there. No pageants were held after until 1985. The winners represented Macau at Miss World and with the Miss Asia Pacific Quest being held in Hong Kong from 1985 to 1989, a Miss Asia Pacific Rep award was added. After 1997 when the Miss Macau and Miss Tourism International pageants were held together, the pageant went on hiatus until 2008. It was also held the following year but none since.
