BIOS:
QUEEN - Alice Wong
Alice Wong is a recent UCLA graduate, ambidextrous and a lifelong science and animal enthusiast. She was raised in Chinatown and Carson, but all of Southern California is her home and playground. Growing up as a minority in an already minority community was a unique experience for Alice. As the singular Chinese student among her peers, she cultivated a deep understanding for many cultures ranging from Hawaiian, African-AMericans, Vietnamnese, Filipinos to Latin-Americans. Being a first-generation American raised in a traditional Chinese household led to Alice's passions of community, family, food culture, innovation and loyalty.      Alice also loves travel, leading her to eight European countries and throughout the U.S.. She loves being outdoors as she is lifelong athlete and an avid backpacker and hiker. She yearns to make a positive community impact as exposure to other's struggles has sparked motivation to be an ambassador for the Asian American community and to empower minority communities. Also, she has secretly always wanted to be an actress and being a wolf tamer.
FIRST PRINCESS - Erika Liu
Erika Liu was born in El Salvador, Central America and immigrated to California with her family when she was five years old. Her Chinese heritage originates from Guangzhou, China. Though her Cantonese was her first language, by the age of six, Erika also became fluent in Spanish and English and has since been heavily influenced by all three cultures.    As the eldest of four siblings, Erika fell in love with children at a young age and has always aspired to become a teacher. She graduated from California State of Fullerton in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Child Development and continued on to earn her Multiple Subject Credentials the following year.    Growing up, Erika dreamed of becoming Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Queen. She hopes to use her diverse background and degree in education to help spread awareness to others about Chinese culture and would be honored to represent the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Erika would love to give a big thank you to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, her sponsor, Customized Tour Specialist, as well as her family and friends. Happy Chinese New Years!
SECOND PRINCESS - Clarissa Liu
Clarissa Liu is from the serene city of Walnut, California. She graduated from the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. During her academic years at USC, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study abroad in Hong Kong, where she fulfilled a concentration in International Business. The time she spent abroad allowed her to form a deeper connection with her Chinese heritage, which opened her eyes to a culture that seemed so familiar yet so foreighn at the same time. She currently works in Banking Supervision and Regulation for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Los Angeles Branch, where she interacts with many Asian financial institutions. Her experiences at work and abroad helped her understand the importance that Asian-Americans play in maintaining relationship between the United States and Asia. These experiences motivated her to participate in the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant as a way to become deeper involved with the Chinese community and serve as a role model for other Chinese Americans like herself.
THIRD PRINCESS - Vivian Tisi
Vivian Tisi was raised in the city of San Gabriel, a city that has fostered her passion for her Chinese roots. She graduated summa cum laude (top 1%) from California State University, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, earning her position with the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and on the Dean's List.    Vivian is currently completing her Master's Degree at her alma mater, also serves as President of the local chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association and aas the graduate coordinator of her department's peer mentoring program. Through these ventures, she has been able to lead her peers in giving back to the community of communication sciences through mentorship, networking, and volunteering.    Upon graduation, Vivian aspires to work at a hospital to rehabilitate survivors of traumatic brain injuries and degenerative diseases. Her fluency in Mandarin-Chinese will help her work with the ethnically and culturally diverse populations of our beloved Los Angeles.

Tiffany is a marketing manager for Fortune 500 companies by day and a user interface design student by night.
