The competition this year was really between heavy favorites Zhiny Ooi and Fancy Goh. The contestants themselves thought Fancy was the one to beat, especially with her modeling background. Prior to the Semi-final, Zhiny was already dubbed "the goddess". After the Semi-final, the Top 10 Finalists were re-numbered.

During the Finals, favorite Zhiny Ooi took the top prize and became a 3-award champion. Another favorite Fancy finished in second while Erica who was deemed as a bit of a dark-horse surprised everyone, especially during the swimwear round, took third.

*Zhiny Ooi went on to represent Kuala Lumpur (although she is from Alor Setar) at Miss Chinese International 2014 where she finished in the Top 5.
